 NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING

 

             

A PUBLIC HEARING will be held on the following proposed ordinances at or about 7:00 P.M. on January 8, 2008, in the Council Chamber at the Wellington Community Center, 12165 West Forest Hill Boulevard, Wellington, Florida, at which time the Village Council will consider its adoption into law.  The ordinances in their entirety may be inspected at the office of the Village Clerk during regular working hours.  All interested parties are invited to attend and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinances.

 

 

ORDINANCE NO.: 2007-17

 

 

AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF WELLINGTON, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF THE VILLAGE OF WELLINGTON CODE OF ORDINANCES, SO AS TO AUTHORIZE A NEW PREPAYMENT PROGRAM TO ASSURE RECOVERY OF THE COSTS OF ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW AND PROCESSING OF APPLICATIONS, SUBMISSIONS, OR REQUESTS INCIDENT TO ALL DEVELOPMENT IN THE VILLAGE OF WELLINGTON; PROVIDING THAT PERSONS MAKING SUCH APPLICATIONS, SUBMISSIONS, OR REQUESTS PAY THE ACTUAL COST OF ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW AND PROCESSING; PROVIDING FOR CERTAIN EXEMPTIONS TO APPLICATIONS, SUBMISSIONS, AND REQUESTS INITIATED BY ANOTHER GOVERNMENTAL ENTITY ACTING IN A GOVERNMENTAL CAPACITY; PROVIDING THAT PROCEDURAL MATTERS OF THE PROGRAM HEREIN AUTHORIZED AND THE DEPOSITS THEREFORE BE ESTABLISHED, AND PERIODICALLY REVIEWED AND AMENDED, BY RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF WELLINGTON, FLORIDA; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE

AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF WELLINGTON, FLORIDA RELATING TO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES; AMENDING CHAPTER 6, “ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES”, SECTION 6-2, “HOURS OF SALE”; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

 

 

 ORDINANCE NO.:  2008-01

 

 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF WELLINGTON, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 2, “ADMINISTRATION”, ARTICLE III, “OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES”, OF THE VILLAGE OF WELLINGTON’S CODE OF ORDINANCES BY ENACTING A NEW DIVISION 5, “LOBBYIST REGISTRATION”; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A REPEALER CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Village Council with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, you will need a record of the proceedings, and you may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.  (The above notice is required by State Law.  Anyone desiring a verbatim transcript shall have the responsibility, at his own cost, to arrange for the transcript).

 

Pursuant to the provision of the Americans With Disabilities Act: any person requiring special accommodations to participate in these meetings, because of a disability or physical impairment, should contact the Village Manager’s Office (561) 791-4000 at least five calendar days prior to the Hearing.
